was probably the most interesting documentaries about modern United States that I have ever seen. Did you know that almost 12,000 people every year are killed by guns in the US? This is more than the total England, Japan, China, Australia, Canada and India combined! Thats kinda scary.

Has anyone else seen other Michael Moore documentaries? What did you think?

Micheal Moore is a genius. His documentaries unravel the truth and yes, they will ruffle some feathers because some people don't like change or admitting they're wrong, but they are REAL. And I'd put money on half the people who are calling him "fat" or "ugly" or any other superficial comments that are being made are by people who have not seen any of his films. They're just grasping at straws for insults towards him. Let's not forget Galileo's persecution for exposing the truth of the heliocentric theory when all others didn't want to believe him.

Just because you don't like the facts, doesn't mean they're not true.

Ugh, I hate that guy, he'll do whatever it takes to make his "documentaries" appear the way he wants to... who needs facts? Our local newspaper got mad at him because he took its header and added one of the Anti-Bush editorial titles from it under the header so it blatantly looked like a headline for one of his films, probably 9-11, I think there were a lot of newspaper things showed. The point is, someone went to that much trouble to rig up something trivial like that, how much else was falsified and fraudulent? I like to think I'm a pretty open minded person, but the thought of that guy honestly makes me physically ill... If there were more people like him in this country, I'd get a visa for just about anywhere else... ugh.

On a side note, I DID like the little bullet cartoon in columbine... pretty funny, lol.

I don't mind him. I wouldn't call what he does a documentary because they don't do enough to show an even and balanced view of the situation, but I guess that's his privelige.

I am pro second amendment, and anti-Bush so I liked F9/11 and didn't care much for Bowling For Columbine.

Michael Moore has guts and isn't afraid to make us think through controversy. I enjoyed Roger & Me, Bowling for Columbine and Fahrenheit 9/11. I love the scene where he's in lobby of Kmart corporate headquarters asking to see what the chairman thinks of selling ammunition cheap in their stores (they since stopped selling), loved how he asked senators if they'd send their own sons into war in Fahrenheit 9/1...

He's alright. Very biased, but no documentary filmmaker is unbiased. That's the whole point of documentary filmmaking. To have an opinion about a topic and presenting it to an audience.

I do like how Moore incorporates trivia and "factual" information in his films and I like his humor in the way that he does it. I particularly like "Roger and Me."

I've seen all of his films and I think they are interesting and bring up good points however they aren't documentaries because they are slanted and full of opinions. He preaches the the choir instead of trying to make a real difference. Roger & Me was my favorite because he actually did something about the situation and it wasn't as opinionated.

I totally agree with Reaper and Julie H. He is an idiot.Guns don't kill people, people do.And if this "Fat ***" wants my guns he can have them after he prys them from my cold dead fingers!!He is a un-American pinko-commy bastard! He rants and raves about stuff he doesn't have any clue or knowledge of.Just like Sean Penn.Just a bunch of bored rich punks with nothing else better to do for our society than to spread chaos on our already chaotic world.
