You have to remember that the ever expanding baby is taking up lots of room so don't be surprised to feel all kinds of strange things. Your bladder probably is emptying but the extra pressure makes it feel like isn't. Be sure to mention any concerns to your OB/GYN that is what he is there for. Good Luck and congratulations on your new bundle of joy.

Yes this is perfectly normal. All you have to do is when you think you are finished sit on the toilet and lean forward. It will put pressure on your bladder and let what ever is left come out. Don't worry you are completely fine. Good luck on the pregnancy!

It's the pressure of the baby on your bladder. do Keegull excercises (not sure of the spelling) where you stop & release. I am doing mine right now! This strengthens the urinary track muscles. I hope this helps!

i just had my baby 6 weeks ago, I felt the same way, all completly normal, it's just the baby pressing on your bladder, and it only gets worse! But it'll all be over before you know it!

the enlarging uterus compresses on the urethra and bladder...so you may not empty your bladder
it gets worse with time...until you deliver of course...

What makes you think it's not emptying? It may simply be pressure that you're beginning to feel.
