Sad to say, but over time you just get used to it.

Not sure how old you are but there are several things to consider. First, at heart, we are a social animal. That being said, we need to interact with others. Second, you have control of your activity and can either feed the need to interact or stifle it.
All that being said, go and find an activity that allows you to interact with others. Perhaps your church has social activities during the week that you might participate in. Youth groups and such give you a chance to be around people and that may lead to other chances. Never underestimate the opportunity to volunteer. At a school, clinic, or shelter-they never have enough help and you are likely to feel good about helping out. Or, you might consider a hospital. If you want to help people, often times there are slots available to help with information desk. Assisting people to find the lab, or x-ray, or the bathroom, will give you a chance to meet people and make up for some of the time you think is lonely now.
Bottom line, to fight loneliness, find some people. Good Luck!

The best way I have found is to keep yourself busy. Find a hobby such as music or artwork to express yourself and possibly use as an outlet for your feelings. I wrote two songs about my past troubles and have been told that they should be on the radio. Heartache and pain are the best influences for such works.

Buy a Dog. Dogs are great friends and people always come up and talk to you if you are walking a cool dog. Take it to a dog park or something, it's a great conversation starter. You'll meet a lot of people that way, plus the dog itself will make you feel less lonely.

Well if it was me I'd just leave for and thur the kids until they were old enough and left then I would get out....lol
I would get out and met people. Other parents go to church or somewheres to met men and new friends. Once we get older it's harder to do. But that's what I would do....I'd stay lonely I know me!haha

I don't. Go find someone to talk to. Call someone. Email. Talk on line. Write a letter. Go visit someone. No one needs to be alone. If you have to. Stay busy to make the time pass faster. Sleep alot.
