I don't know what I want to do as my major for college. I want to have a career in the music industry and I want to sing but don't want to be a celebrity and I don't really want to teach music. I know thats alot but...any suggestions?

Just take lots of courses that interest you and note your strong points in all of them. Gradually a picture will emerge of what you should keep on doing.Teaching music or performing as a "celebrity" are very small aspects of a really wide field. Have fun and keep trying things and relish the opportunity to learn more about yourself. You might end up doing something absolutely unique. Pay close attention to your dreams too....they are a wonderful teacher!

Research schools that have strong programs in music. Not just teaching music, but all aspects of the music industry. Find a voice coach to help you learn your strengths and build on them. Do you want to sing in musical theatre, a band, or something else? Find out what you want to do, then find the best music program out there and try to get in. Don't give up!

How about a music therapist! If I had the opportunity to go back to college and was a few years younger, that's what I'd do!

Well if you can write songs then you can do demo tapes. The writers sing the songs like they have written them then sometimes the artist that records them will change it around a little.

You could always go for back up singers, or be one of those people who sing commercial jingles and such.
