There is no real answer to this question but what I have learned of what love is to me and that is the word LOVE itself holds the answer.......
(L)isten: and validate them by hearing and empathizing.
(O)verlook: their minor character flaws as they will overlook yours.
(V)alue: who they are and what they mean to you.
(E)xpress: how you love them not just with words but with actions.

It's one of the strongest and sweetest emotions that you can ever have. To have it with the right person and to go all the way, you should be really blessed and lucky. It's an emotion which will make you stand on top of this world with a big smile on your face and it's the same emotion which will burn you like nothing incase of an unlikely fall out. But it's worth it...every moment of it. If you are in true love I think he would be the last person you think about when you go to sleep and the first person that comes to your mind when you wake up..you would want to sacrifice all your happiness for him yet you wouldnt do that because you know in your heart that no one in this world can love him as much as you do...and no one ever will. And most important of all, he should treat you like a queen..make you feel all these emotions night and day...to quarrel is only human but the next moment his love for you should make him repent and make up for it...and then, if he is the right person while you feel like sacrificing everything for him he will make sure that you will not have to sacrifice anything in your life for him...which means..HE WILL LOVE YOU JUST AS YOU ARE...AND LET YOU BE! Good luck friend! It's a devine emotion..it should bring only happiness.

I'm in the same situation right now as you...it's pretty hard to figure out what it is at the beginning, but soon enough you will know...love is, for me, when you feel like you will sacrifice everything you have for that person...nothing matter beside him/her, when that happens, you're definitely in love...so my advice is that you wait a little while to see if that's how you feel...good luck

I think it is. There are different degrees of love, You may just be stronly infactuated right now. But its a powerful emotion. Make sure you are careful and don't let it get out of hand. Ciao!
