So what is motion picture? numbers in what? One can argue that at least in part a movie is numbers in time. a movie is measured by length of time. right? but what is the CONTENT of the movie? They are numbers in what? time / space? but wait numbers in time/space is astronomy! so what is a motion picture of a symphony performance? music is numbers in time so what is a motion picture of numbers in time? and if i am watching a live performance of said symphony that is numbers in what? time right? but the symphony ,the producers of numbers in time ,encompasses three dimensional geometric space. but wait i thought numbers in time/space was once again astronomy? Is music, geometry, mathematics and astronomy all in the same? Pythagorus and the ancient Greeks thought so.

You know, an instructor once told me that biology is just chemistry, chemistry is just physics, and physics is just really complicated math, and that's why numbers are the universal language. They apply to every single thing in the universe to some degree or another. Pretty cool, huh? :)

From the movie "pi" :

Restate my assumptions:
One, Mathematics is the language of nature.
Two, Everything around us can be represented and understood through numbers.
Three: If you graph the numbers of any system, patterns emerge.

Therefore, there are patterns everywhere in nature.

Evidence: The cycling of disease epidemics;the wax and wane of caribou populations; sun spot cycles; the rise and fall of the Nile

Movies are numbers in synchronization. If any aspect of the numbers you mentioned are out of synchronization, you don't have a movie, just chaos.

Say what... it's all continuity, limits, and progressions as they relate to the functional calculus involved and the propositonal logic attributed to those production functions...at least, that's how I view it... syncopation, propogation, and orchestration.
