Think about the rest of your relationship with him and whether he respects you... he is probably greatly amused by the fact that he can treat you that way and still have sex with you.

Do your best impression of a person with disabilities, especially if you're in public. Or you could always just get really quiet and say you had a family member who was "special". If you look like you're about to cry he'll stop.

While the one lady says it's abuse, it's not. He's joking, I'm sure of it. Don't let it bother you! And, if it really does bother you and you're too shy to tell him, write him a note. Tell him exactly how you feel, personalize it, make him realize it hurts you. If he doesn't stop, you should re-think your relationship, he obviously doesn't care about your feelings!

Well you should definitely break it off. When I was younger I put up with little name calling like that from my guy for two years... he ended up beating me.... ohh how nice. He isn't kidding and it could get serious!

Tell him you don't like it. If he doesn't listen, then just start calling him a name whenever he calls you a retard, and if he says anything to you, tell him that you decided you were going to call him something equally offensive. :)
