other than the coffee answer there is only one other on here that actually works. Guarana.
Herbalists will tell you that western medicine doesn't know of it's special energizing effects.
Western medicine will tell you that Guarana is full of caffeine.
'Herbal' doesn't mean better. Whenever you increase your heartrate, I.E. your energy, you put a little more wear and tear on your heart, be it through jogging, ephedra, cocaine, guarana or a nice espresso.

Spirulina is amazing, or any greens supplement.
If you are taking a multivitamin switch to Alive by Natures Way, this is very energizing only using natural greens.
