Well, besides me, sweet onions and that ever-present prison, the most famous thing to come out of Walla Walla, Washington is probably Adam West, who played Batman in the old TV series.
He grew up down the street from me, but was grown and off doing his Batman thing before I was aware of him. I knew his parents, the Andersons, who always talked about their boy, Billy. They were good friends of my grandparents. His Uncle Gus owned the local hardware store out on Ninth Street. LOLOL. Really.
