I think if we all got saved and became Christains then the world would be alot better! I don't mean to sound like a bible tumper but if I do so what I am proud to be one!!!! Take care and God bless!

Actually, I can imagine worse! I try very hard to maintain a balance, seeking to know about good and uplifting things happening. There's great art and music to feed your soul, and refreshment in the beauty of nature. Remember that it's the nature of news to focus on the sensational and frightening, but it's a false magnification. Those things are happening, but people live and love still. There are positive and hopeful signs, such as the growing commitment to cleaner energy and that people are getting sick and tired of wars that line the pockets of those who have overmuch lining already :) Visit a museum... spend time in a park or a beautiful place ... read an inspiring book --- fact or fiction! Pray for peace, to whomever you pray -- or just work for peace if you don't pray. Do something kind for others and.or for yourself! There's so much more to life than the sad & dreary same-old... !

It very well could be. We will never know. The media only shows what will bring in the best ratings. (and what propaganda our government wants us to see) All I know is for as much as I am against the war, one of my friends is in Iraq and he tells me how much the people there appreciate them(US soldiers) being there and protecting them and for giving them hope for a better place to live. I am sure that the media would not want us to know that. If there is bad, there has to be some good somewhere!

I try not to think about it. It's always been something, though. I remember thinking Armageddon was coming during the Cuban Missile Crisis. I was working for the Corps of Engineers and we we buying land for the Minuteman Missiles, so that didn't help either.
