Perhaps the most permanent way you can delete these are though the "regedit" function; and I think you really ought to do that right away, because they look like malware to me.
Since I don't know what OS you are using, I'll assume that you're using Windows XP, Home or Pro.
Now, first of all, make a note of the complete address of each picture file that you need to delete. When you run the cursor over it, it'll generally tell you something like C:\Documents and Settings\My Pictures\dave.jpg. or
HKEY\Windows\Documents and Settings \ etc etc.
If it's the C:\etc etc, go to My Computer and double click on the icon. Go to Documents and Settings and double click on that. Go to the next thing in the address there, like, in this case, My Pictures and double click on that. The last part of the address here was dave.jpg. look for the file with that and selct and delete it.
Sometimes these things wont allow you to delete them. In such a case, right click on it, go to "Rename", delete the extension, like, in this case .jpg and some of the name and then select it and do the delete again. This time around, it should delete the file.
In the case the address reads HKEY etc etc, go to "Start", then "Run" and click on "Run". In the dialog box there, type in "regedit" and click browse. This'll open the Registry Editing Panel. Now, you need to be very careful here because this is a very sensitive area and it's better you get some friend who really knows Computers to help you here. Deleting the wrong files here can have your system crash.
Follow the path shown in the address you got there and find the specific file and delete it. Whatever I've told you before, applies.
All the best.
Cheers.
