well...that really depends on what kind of improvements you want to make. a memory card to increase the RAM in your computer will run you around $30 - $40. You can also buy some antivirus software. You could buy some DVD authoring/burning software. Just some suggestions... I don't really know which areas in particular you are trying to improve. You could also buy a webcam, or new speakers, or a flash drive. Sky's the limit for $40.

go for a fx5500 ? They are more stable and produce better graphics than the 5200 TC and cost 42 dollars shipped.

Actually if you had a little more money (60 dollars) and a PCI Express Slot (Graphic Cards) than you could upgrade to the X800 (radion) which is a very solid graphic card that is around 30% better than the 6600GT (nvidia). I put the links for both in the sources....

Adding more system memory will NOT cure your "retarded 5200 Nvidia TC" as you put it.

Only a better video card can provide the cure.......

Dude, you need to mention what is wrong with your computer before asking for suggestions on how to improve it.

The one thing I can think of that *might* cost $40, depending on your year and model of computer, is a memory card--and if your memory slots aren't all taken, more RAM is always a good thing.

what do you want to do to it??? 40 bucks cant really do a lot of things except maybe get a new video card or something small like that. i suggest saving your money and then doing something big like upgrade your processor speed or something like that.

Get a combination tool that includes a registry cleaner, spyware detective, and a system optimizer. It really helps keep your machine healthy.

if it runs too slow for your liking, i would say .. see if you can find some memory at a discount. (taking into account of course that your not already maxed out)
