Why do some people call people morons when the person they are calling a moron knows more, and it's actually the people bashing that are the morons, and don't know anything about the subject? Is there an actual reason, or are they just idiots?

Because they are frustrated by their own ignorance.

People tend to get very angry when they are shown to be wrong. Sometimes you can be startled by their rage when all you meant to do was just answer a question you thought was straightforward enough.

When a person filled with anger and aggression (e.g. politically conservative reactionaries, or violent radicals) starts bashing someone for being correct they strike out at a person who has openly identified their ignorance.

This kind of angry bashing is a cowardly response because they are unable to face the truth yet again. Instead of being angry at themselves for their own intellectual shortcomings they jump on the person who reminded them that they are ignorant by trying to "change the subject". Very dishonorable and cowardly IMHO. They do themselves and others around them harm.

Best of luck with these!

Its called die hard trying..

You feel like you've achieved something significant when u think u can out-talk someone knowledgeable. You want people to respect you for your knowledge, u want them to look at you in awe. You probably think that everyone is better than u and you're trying to make up for it.

Never argue with a moron. They will only drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. :)

Are you sure you know more? Or is it possible that some of your answers to other peoples questions just want to remind you that you have no clue about life?

they are immature and insecure. lashing out at those we could learn from is the greatest form of stupidity there could ever be. the person they are trying to hurt has to remember that they can't help themselves and have pity on them.
