My 92 grand prix cost $125.00 labor, I think a camaro is somewhat more difficult with exhaust pipes being in the way. I would expect $150.-300. depending on where you take it.

If you can, do it yourself. Once the tank is off, actually replacing the pump is a snap (Easier on a pickup, we just took the bed off lol). Get a couple friends, raise the rear end of the car (make very sure that car is stable, I've seen cars on even small grades fall over, and lucky no one was under them). Get another jack to stabalize the tank, loosen the fastners and lower the tank down with the jack(Much easier if the tank is almost empty). Replace the fuel pump and reverse the steps to get the tank back up. Make sure to mark what wires came off the fuel pump and where, you dont want to cross any wires. It will take you a couple hours but you will save yourself a lot of money. You may want to replace the fuel filter also, especially if you dont know when the last time it was replaced was. It is a job and a half sometimes and as always, if you feel like you can't do it...dont- take it in.
