Target, it's more upscale than Walmart.

Wal Mart is an evil plnce? Where did that come from? I thought this was a comparison between Wal Mart and Target.
I shop at both places but Wal Mart is definitely the cheaper of the two. I agree with everyone else that the clientele at Wal Mart is pretty low on the genetic code but I don't see Target as exactly high class either. And I find the people working at Wal Mart to be far more friendly than Target. If you are comparing apples to apples than it only makes sense to buy from the cheapest. If you are comparing entirely different lines of products than you have to be the judge of which has the better quality.

I couldn't agree more! Target has always been a pretty dope place. I can actually feel my I.Q dropping when I set foot into Wal-mart! I also have this sudden urge to get fat and buy complete garbage. Target works with what they have. They have well designed products that make you feel that Target cares how you look and feel.

Wal-Mart....why pay twice the price for the same thing at Target just because of the name and the fact that people think it's more upscale.
Also....to the person that doesn't think people steal things at Target because "it's too nice"...are you really that naive

Target has less tacky merchandise but Wal-mart is cheaper on the basics

wal-mart. i'm not huge on giving them my money either. however i have recently discovered that target is owned by some company in France and has been quite outspoken against the US and they don't support our troops. many have come home and been forced out by dwindling hours or other BS. so wal-mart is by far the lesser of 2 evils.

It really depends on what you like, if you prefer class, cleanliness, friendliness of the employees, then you would probably like Target better. If you are a tightwad and saving that extra penny means something to you, then you are probably more likely to shop at Wal Mart.

Wal-Mart is inexspensive and has everthing you need ( at least at Super Wal-Mart ) and also does Target have a gas station, I don't think so! Alot of snobby rich people shop at Target too. i've met alot of nice people at Wal-Mart.

Target, I love that place! Wal-mart is a little TOO white trash for me....and I am white trash, so that is saying a lot!

I like Target. Although WalMart prices are a little lower, the quality of the products and cleanliness of the Target stores is a lot better.
