Do you take leaves in ordinary sickness, like cough, cold ?

I want to take leave but I do not have courage to ask for leaves ; although I am little sick .

I only take sick leave when I am too sick to work. Generally, doctors will only grant medical certificates if you are unable to work (or if doing so would worsen your condition).

Usually not for a minor cold. Occassionally (once or twice a year) I take mental health days. Heck, why else were we given sick leave?

Unless I have a fever I do not take sick leave.........Now, if I havent used sick days for a whole year and I need them for vacation, thats a horse of a different color..........LOL
