In my opinion I would say if you have traveled to half of the states then you are well traveled within America. Also well Traveled isn't always about how many states you have been to but what sights and things you have seen within the state. Hope this helps you with you question. Have a fantastic week! :)

Probably at least half. Try visiting the west and east coasts of our country. Visit the Midwest... Missouri and Illinois have plenty to offer. South Dakota is a great place. Florida is fun, too. Most folks probably haven't seen half of our states, so by comparison you would be "well-traveled" in America.

Wouldn't being considered "Well traveled" meaning you have actually traveled outside the U.S.??
In my opinion if one hasn't left their own country they are not "well traveled". I'm not being sarcastic - I'm just giving you my honest answer :)

More than half. But ideally, you should hit all the major regions. (ie southwest, west coast, east coast, new england, southern states, middle america... etc)
