Heh...well if I was a coach and I had Palmer and Manning on my team...I would NOT play Manning in the playoffs...his record thus far doesn't really make him a playoff QB...My Panthers' Jake Delhomme has been to the Super Bowl more than "the best QB in the league" Peyton Manning....how great could he possibly be?
His numbers are there...and the regular season wins are as well...but...I'll take Palmer for the playoffs...he hasn't won a playoff game yet...but...he's only played in about half of one game...but I'd still take a chance with him first. Yeah, yeah I know..the QB isn't the only guy that wins a game...but Cincinati seems to have all the same weapons that Indy has but they haven't had as many chances to make a super bowl yet...so I hope to see this year a healthy Palmer in the playoffs and they should have some success.
In short:
Manning: Great numbers...horrible playoff success
Palmer: Great numbers...little playoff experience
First one to win the big one is the one I'll pick..but right now...eh...I'll take Tom Brady (That bastard)

Manning is the better QB. He's more battle tested. anybody saying Palmer is going off of one year of playing...not enough. Peyton may not have taking his squad to the top yet, but Carson couldn't get his team past the Colts and also lost in the first round. He's also coming off of major knee surgery.
curious to see if Palmer ever truly lives up to what everyone thinks. Cause his first two years as a starter at USC were very mediocre. I would just like to see if he can put multiple years together.

I'm going to say Peyton Manning only because he has more years under his belt and he controls the ball very well when hes under pressure and Carson does too but Peyton does a lot for his team making them literally (walk up the field).

Manning but I'll take Palmer in four years. Manning is the best QB in football right now plus Palmer is coming off an injury. Palmer will be one of the top if not the best of the QBs in football in the years to come.

Peyton Manning is a pansy-*** little punk. I can't stand the guy. He and his preacher-coach are about the most annoying pair in the NFL I can think of (I'm a long-time Patriots fan, btw ;) ).
Carson Palmer is cool, but he reminds me of a cyborg when he has his helmet on. He looks really creepy.
I'd take him over Manning any day, though.
