also, rest of books is so dark fr book 4 which is so imp.it sets d scene n stage for rest of harry book 5-7.prisoner azkaban book was better than d movie, but Dan n Emma's acting was good.best of d 3 movies. storyline bit confusing.chamber of secrets was dark n boring. soceror stone was d first,every1 holds it dear to their heart.

D) Goblet of Fire.
It was by far the most polished of them all. It managed to convey the tone of the books adequately while not losing anything of substance in the plot. I did appreciate what Alfonso Cuaron brought the the franchise in terms of style, but the script of the third movie was pretty weak in my opinion.
The first two films, while visually stunning, had many of the same script issues. I don't think Chris Columbus quite managed to convey the tone of the books, and the inexperience of the child actors is too difficult to ignore. I found myself cringing far too often to enjoy either. Richard Harris's portrayal of Dumbledore also hurt my enjoyment. He seemed far too feeble and old to be the Dumbledore I imagined, though this is up for debate as I know many prefer his version to Michael Gambon's.
Goblet was exciting, funny, and at times downright moving. The writers seemed to get a handle on how much plot could be left out for the sake of time without alienating the book-loving audience. There were some spots that could use improving, but Goblet outdoes the other films by a mile.

C) Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
I have seen all four movies, and liked each of them a *lot*.....but, for me at least, #3 was the best *movie*. Even the credits were great, with the Marauder's Map as the backdrop. First rate movie all around.
(Of the books, #6 has been my favourite so far.)

I have to go with Sorcerer's Stone for the simple fact it was the first and I loved the sense of wonderment conveyed in the movie as Harry would continuously discover his true heritage. I thought it did best justice to the book as well, though I prefer the books to each of the movies. I am a teacher and would love to teach at Hogwarts, especially transfiguration. Oh, wait. I do suppose I'd have to leanr it first. Ah well.

The 1st harry potter movie. I felt sorry for him in the movie because he lived under the stairs and they were mean to him. That one is my favorite plus he was little and cute then...lol He was just learning about his powers.
