It's true, and the reason is because the republicans did it to Clinton.
And I'm not saying that to blame anyone, but it is the truth. Before Bill, the presidency held a prestige. Now it's really much like the British Royalty.
Republican introduced slamming the president for political gain, and now that the door is open it cannot be shut. So whomever is elected next, no matter who, is going to be slammed.

Give the guy a break ?
What about him giving a break to all the countries he is dropping bombs on ? I think they deserve a break, so they can walk a few feet or two and not think those steps will be their last.
It's hard to feel sympathetic to a guy who has no sympathy for the lives he is taking. A guy who values money and oil more than peace and life.

you'd be really shocked to know who some of the people are that think bush is the anti-christ....they are very f**kin' far from liberal, too. He is a frat-boy though....the most exclusive frat on earth: skull and bones.
if you think only republican presidents get called names, mention the word "clinton" around here. you'll see some world class name calling.

Naah. I liked George Senior... this guy is surrounded by questionable folks. As far as the comment of his intelligence, he did get to be President somehow. I am not that crazy about President GW though.

yeah i'm sure he takes in alot of flack from people. i am not his biggest fan, i will openly admit that. and in no defense either way, he should expect it....just like any celebrity should expect to deal with paparazzi...he has the whole country to answer to, and when he's been sending it down the tubes, and more countries hate us now more than ever, you and him should both recognize the fact that there will be mudslinging, and outright hatred shown to president bush.
