She should be seeing a ob/gyn doctor every month by now. You could both have all your questions answered at her check ups. As far as showing every one is different, usually by the 4-5 month you do start to show. Your girlfriend should tell her parents, they have the right to know what's happening.. Good Luck..

She must see a doc or a nurse as soon as possible - for the baby's well being. As long as she drinks plenty of water she should be ok but it's not a good idea for anyone to stay in the sun too much!
It is great that she is taking prenatal vitamens and it is even better she has such a caring partner. You both, together, should tell her parents of the pregnancy immediately. For the sake of this child.
And some women never show. It depends on the woman.

I didnt see a doctor until I was 3 months, I honestly didnt know that I was pregnant until 2 1/2 months, but being that she is in her 4th month then she needs to start going. Its good that she is on the the vitamins. But I didnt tell my family until I was 4-5 months and I still was going to the doctors. If it has to do with money then make an appointment with the health depart and get put on some type of medicaid. If she is not under age then she can still see a doctor and her parents dont have to know about it. Also my doctor told me that going out in the sun or going to the pool is great just make sure that her stomach is covered and make sure that she is drinking lots and lots of water. If she is getting too hot then she needs to go inside. She will most likely start showing next month, most women begin to show at 5 months, but Im over weight and didnt start showing until 7 months so if she has some extra pounds then it will take a little longer.

For most women who are pregnant with their first child they will start to show around 20 to 24 weeks. It depends on the person. She is okay for the time being. The further along she get the more important it is for her and the well being to see a doctor. Being out in the sun won't hurt the baby but she need to make sure she stays hydrated. Pregnant women get dehydrated much easier than anyone else. She need to drink 6 to 7 bottles of water everyday. Its very important. She should really tell her parents in the next few weeks so she can start getting medical help.

She needs to see a doctor, for both her health and the baby. If cost is a problem most state haves programs to help or try planned parenthood. Many religious organizations can help with low cost care. As for the sun she should avoid too much exposure, like anyone should, every tan should be though of as a bruise. She will show anywhere from one to about four months. I hope the two of you can tell your parents, you will need help to deal with this, good luck.

Prenatal care is the regular visits that you have with your health caregiver throughout your pregnancy. It is important to start prenatal care as early in your pregnancy as possible. Prenatal care can help prevent problems during pregnancy and childbirth. It can also help find certain problems early, so they can be treated. Your caregiver may want to see you every month or so during your early months of pregnancy. Your caregiver will need to see you more often as you get close to your due date. If you have problems, such as diabetes or problems with your pregnancy, you may need more frequent prenatal visits.
All pregnancies are different. Most women dont start showing until about 16wks. It really depends on the pregnancy.

Dear Justin,
I think it's vital that your girlfriend receive prenatal care immediately. Because of her young age, this is especially important. Also, it is important for her to tell her parents so any insurance the family has can cover related pregnancy expenses. You want the healthiest baby possible, so getting prenatal care is one of the best ways we have to ensure that.
Being in the sun for long periods is only safe with adequate sunscreen protection, and hydration. Still, in the summer heat..she should be careful to to overexert herself.
I wish you the best luck, and please encourage her to get prenatal care as soon as possible.

How did you get an ultrasound without her seeing a doctor?
The sun won't hurt the baby, unless your girlfriend is getting severely dehydrated. But the sun will cause skin cancer and wrinkles, so have her use a good SPF sunblock. She could start to show anytime now, or not until 5th or 6th month. It just depends on her body type.

you should have in informed her parents right when you found out. and if she doesnt want to you need to do it because it is your responsibility too. and you desperately need to see a doctor. because what if there is some type of complication that could risk both her life and the baby's.
