There is no real answer to this question but what I have learned of what love is to me and that is the word LOVE itself holds the answer.......
(L)isten: and validate them by hearing and empathizing.
(O)verlook: their minor character flaws as they will overlook yours.
(V)alue: who they are and what they mean to you.
(E)xpress: how you love them not just with words but with actions.

love to me is when u feel happy all the time.When u have no pain,worries,stress.When u talk to that specialperson about anything and they listen and understand.When they make u feel like your the most beautiful person in the world.Love is when your never have to cry or worry if there cheating,when u feel trusted and feel as though u can trust them.Love is when your consomed by it.The best thing u can have is love,nothing comes above always keeping it real.Love is what u feel deep inside for a special person.U can't help who u fall in love with or who loves u.Love not time heal all wounds.Love is when u love someone not because of who they are but who u are when u are with them.Love is real.It only comes a dime a dozen and when its truly love u'll know and hold on to it. Love is when that special someone makes u feel special for who u are not what u are;when they make u feel beautiful inside and out. This is what love is to me.

Being in love is giving your heart to someone. That means trusting them with your being. It means being excited to go home to them, even if all you do is sit around the house. It means everytime you think of them you get a little smile on your face, because they make you happy every day, just by being with you.
