Good one's in the right field, but not necessarily to start with!

A friend of mine's brother used to get paid $100,000 bonuses to move from HP to TI and back again! He retired at the age of 45 and now buys distressed houses.

An electrical engineer I knew who worked for Disney had a nice home and family with lots of kids. He did quite well!

Another engineer I knew headed a company (he wasn't the owner) that made mag wheels for cars. He had enough money to buy classic cars.

Starting pay is like $30,000 a year, but after a while and once you get moving you can make lots more, especially if you get a MAsters instead of a BA

If you live in USA, CANADA OR EUROPE, you have an assured Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Volvo, Audi, etc.
However, if you go to places like South America, its harder, specially in Uruguay where people hardly ever get to have one, and if they do, they are constantly robbed. CONCLUSION: if you live in the North Hemisfire yes, in Latin America... i dont think so...

pd: ive heard that Spanish engineers are very good at what they do... i dont know if its true... if it is, they may earn really good...
