I buy from iTunes, but it is getting expensive and I want some free entertainment. Does anyone know where to get free episodes of South Park or Family guy (or any TV shows for that matter) or free movies for download? I'm talking about promotional episodes or copies of unliscensed movies... wink, wink.

Have you tried www.youtube.com? I am not sure about the downloading part or the iPod ready format. I would go to itunes.com and pay for it.

The tv episodes are usually not free(a few exceptions)but as for movies,I have found several really good free sites. A lot of the movies are older b-type but some newer ones as well. I can give you a list of sites to watch streaming video from..here are a few..Cinemanow,Retrovision,Mytv,Netbroadcaster,liketelevision,movieflix,crashtv,and several others. As for downloading...I guess limewire,Kazaa,Morpheus and a few other ptp file sharing networks are ok. Beware not of the legality of downloading..but of the damn spyware and viruses that you will get. Trust me,if you start downloading lots of movies from these type of sites,your computer will be living on borrowed time regardless of how good your protection seems to be. Stick to streaming or downloading from legit sites instead of file sharing sites. I hope you check out a few of the sites I suggested,if you like movies from the 60's-90's you will love some of these sites. Plus,some of the movies are so bad and cheesy that you have to love them..lol..good luck.

Downloading movies is against the law. You can and will go to jail, if you download movie. You can also infect your computer with virus and spy-ware. So do it at your own risk.
