Are you putting them inside the head tag? A title tag can only appear once in a web page, and it must be inside

you also have to make sure you close it properly

In cases like these and many others, you really should include all the possible information you can, like for this, the HTML code of the page. But my best guess without the code is to make sure the desired text for the title is after and before and that it is between and and not and . You might also want to make sure that there is only one and only one . An example of how to place the title is below:


The Title Goes Here


The body goes here


That's very basic, without any special formatting or XHTML.

u mean u put it in tag, right?
ok then . it would never get apeared, coz the content between these tags aren't for displaying in the site, they will show up on the upper right in ur browser.
if it is ur site's name put it in this tag

open in frontpage, go to page properties, and there is a box for titles
