I must confess many people in my life have said some pretty shitty things to me.. The one thing in common with all these comments was that they were generally wrong and that the person saying them wanted more than anything to make me upset. They usually did and they won. The one and only way I have been able to fight back was to respond by not getting mad sad hurt or by not showing any other emotion. Nothing pisses a person off mere than when they want to hurt you and you don't react. Thus in turn making them mad Ha ha ha works every time . Although you must be ready for an even worse comment . Then you know you won. easy as that.
I think it all relies on your own self image. If you don't have one you will believe what ever any idiot has to say. Work on the fact that you are a good person no matter what ANYONE has to say. God doesn't make junk

A dog should never get kicked by anybody-they are helpless and depend on people to care for them. Only a bully would kick a dog because he/she can. A bully is created by being abused as a child. I've never been so hurt I cried because I have healthy self-esteem and don't allow anybody in my space that is cruel. I always listen with interest when my circle of friends tells me something, but we always care about each other and are not mean. I'm sorry you can even think of a question like this. You don't deserve to be made to cry by anybody. Maybe you should change your friends and get therapy for your anger.

I have a lazy eye. It is not really noticeable unless you really know me and I have pointed it out. I am really self conscious about it any way. One day my sister was at school and this guy called her crocked eye just to be teasing her for no reason. There is nothing wrong with her eyes. She was upset and crying and my mom, to make her feel better, said, "Don't worry you don't have a crocked eye, if anyone does it would be your sister, not knowing I was in the room. I was so upset I balled. That was so mean.

When a friends dog bit me and all they said was "Sometimes he gets that way." They didn't even offer to take me to the emergency room or anything,not even a rag for my hand. And the dog bit a nerve and my hand was numb for six months. They were lucky I didn't kick the dog to get him off my hand, of call the police and report a vicious dog!!

I had some bobby pins in my hair the other day and my aunt was over and I said I was going to take a shower and she said, "Thank Goodness, for God's sake you look like you work at Furr's or something." (Furr's is a relatively nasty restaurant that went out of business a while back.) I almost made HER cry.

My sisters hubby hung up on me....I know it's childish but!
I called over to her house to talk to my mom who was there for a weekend. He was mad at me because mom and dad stayed with them instead of me. Which they hadn't asked to stay with me. I asked to speak to mom and he said NO and hung up on me. I had PMS and it unset me. My hubby went over to their house. It was dumb and a BIG family blow up but at the time it hurt. Sounds so dumb now. But he is a very rude mean person and it's hard to get alone with him
