average lifespan is about 4-5 years for consoles. for handhelds, it gets trickier, as nintendo usually just upgrades incrementally (gameboy, gameboy color, gameboy advance, etc).

but new consoles should be out around 2012 or so.

maybe psp2 and ds2 most certaly xbox 3 and psp4 but no wii 2

dude PSP and DS JUST came out, were not going to here about anything on the second ones for quite awhile.
