if your a real tech, check out microscope pc. its a great pc diagnostics tool. i have a copy of it and it tells me whats wrong with my hardware. software wise, i use ultra winstress. both programs are free if you know how and where to find them otherwise youll end up paying for them

This isn't a package per se, but it is free and that's a plus. Go to housecall.trendmicro.com. It scans your computer for viruses and spyware. I use Panicware's popup stopper to stop popups. Spybot Search & Destroy is a good program to scan for spyware. I use Norton Antivirus and Internet Security also. I hope this helps!
