Ok thanks for the answers so far. Here's where I always get him and he would have no come back--say, I lost one pair of of my 2 carat earrings...when I go to lost & found, should I say hey I lost a 1 carat earring? I think I should say 2 carat. I just understand why I don't agree with him and seemed to be losing based on the answers so far.By the way, right now--he thinks he is a diamond expert.

You need to go by total weight on this one. If the total weight of the diamonds is 2 carats then yes, there is 1 carat each. If total weight is 4 carats, then there is 2 carats each earring. Regular advertising tends to go by total weight.

Whitehall is going out of business enterprise meaning your ring won't comprise a guaranty. My first engagement ring got here from Zales & the diamond cracked a three hundred and sixty 5 days later (from an inclusion) and had I no longer had a guaranty, they does no longer have fixed it. in case you do no longer think of you'll want a guaranty for sizing, maintenance or cleansing, then choose for it! that is very much!

Yes. Just look at a website like Walmart of overstock.com. The description will confirm.
