My bad, I said Tony Dorstt, but I was thinking of Eric Dickerson.
I have to go with Tony Dorsett. Look at some of his single season rushing stats, and also, I need some size for blocking. I think Barry Sanders would hurt me in my play action passing.
I also want a bigger body to run out of the backfield as a receiver who can match up physcially with linebackers.
I would go with Jim Brown, except he was such a premadonna I couldn't build a team around him.
Walter Payton is good too, but Dorsett had more flatout speed.

He's a North Carolina High School Football GOD !!!
He's not famous, but he was my hero growing up, and he's the most exciting player I ever saw. If anybody out there knows who he is, they will tell you he was like Barry Sanders in the eyes of all the spectators and the competition he faced. He'll always be my favorite football player.

Barry Sanders!!! He had the ability to make a 5 yard loss in to a 35 yard gain at any moment in the game.

Yeah Barry is one of the best I ever saw but in my backfield I'd go with Jim Brown.
