Enginerd has the right answer indeed. Adam and Eve had multiple children. Cain Able and Seth are named the Bible says in Genesis chapter 5 that they had sons and daughters so there were a multitude of Children from Adam and Eve. There is the question of intermarriage and the fact is they did intermarry. Cain's wife was also his sister. However at that time the gene pool would have been so pure you would not have the problems you would have today whith intermarriage. For the people who believe in evolution it is a flawed and disproved theory with no scientific basis is reality. The simple fact that God created the world and everything in it is not only easier to believe but scientifically accurate.

Adam did not only have one kid with eve. They were told to go off and "be fruitful" (meaning have many children) by God. The only ones that had a story with meaning to tell in the bible were Cain and Abel. The bible is there for our guidance and direction. Not for little unimportant details, LIke a complete listing of everyones kids and when they were born.
IF all of those things were placed into the bible, we would not get a lot of information from the bible. Just a bunch of unimportant facts. What all of eve and Adam's kids names were and how many they had were unimportant. Just that they had kids. Cain and Abel's story was meant to teach us a lesson about caring about others. That murder was not right.

Adam did not just have one kid with eve. I think you should re-read the Bible.
Seth was one of his son's that Adam had at the age of 130 years of age. Since they would have started having children by the age of at least 20, how many children could he have possibly had? There was no such thing as incest then because it was allowed by God at that time. There could have been 10,000 people by the time of Seth's Birth.
Cain and Able are 2 of the earlier children mentioned by the Bible, and not all of their children are mentioned. (That could be a book in itself.)
Here is a small example of how Adam and Eve could have lived.

Adam and Eve had many children. Cain killed his brother Abel, and then went to the land of Nod to find a wife. The Bible says Adam and Eve were the first, not the only.

wrong category but I will answer. No one so far has told you the truth.Genesis 1 is the account of the creation of the earth, the plants and the beasts(dinos too)and the account of the creation of human beings. These men were hunter gatherers and not quite the same as Adam and Eve.Genesis 2 is the account of the creation of Adam(As there were no men who could till the field)the recreation of plants and beasts in Eden and then the creation of Eve.
When Adam and Eve were expelled from Eden the earth was already populated with humans not exactly the same as Adam and Eve but close enough. This is where their children got their mates.

Because our creation had nothing to do with Adam and Eve. Think about it? Only two humans on the planet to procreate the entire population......without every child being a complete inbreaded handicap.
This was someone's attempt to explain our origin, before we had science. This story and the bible are products of the time in which they were written.

Sorry to rain on your lovely religious views, but there is an amazing theory called "Evolution" that disproves any silly ideas presented by the bible. In fact, Darwin and many others who studied evolution were quite religious. They did not think oof God as directly creating man, but in the very beginning on time creating a single-celled organism that would have in its power the ability to later create all the organisms we have on earth today.

I'm not sure which "Adam" you are talking about.
The biblical account of Adam includes many children that he and Eve had. Most famous is probably Cain, who killed Abel his brother. Thats two. Seth is a prominent son, and daughters are referred to.

At the time, Adam & Eve were suppposed to keep the bloodlines pure...
so we have incest that was sanctioned by God!
Keep in mind that incest was not the taboo then that it is now. It is mostly a taboo because of the effects of recessive traits that become more dominate in the unforked family trees!
