Does toothpaste work better than proactive on pimples?? Or is proactive better??

I vote for toothpaste, but SERIOUSLY--don't use gel. The good old paste stuff works great to dry up a zit. Another "trick" is to use Visine to take the red out. It works. And using a little ice (in a wash cloth so you don't freeze your skin) can make the swelling go down. If all that fails, hey, it might be time to go to derm doctor. Despite what that costs, you might ultimately save money. I had my ZITS COMPLETELY CURED by doctor and only every now and again get ONE pimple, and when it happens, I drag out the toothpaste. What works for someone may not work for you, but its worth a try...

def toothpaste proactive is basically toothpaste in a differently chemically arranged form and they make millions of dollars on it but toothpaste works just as great or even better but it also depends on skin type sometimes it doesnt help but that goes for proactive also

Proactive irritated my skin, making it red, itchy, and flaky.

I recommend Velocity® Facial Cleanser. It Deep cleans, tones, refreshes and exfoliates.

Then use Velocity® Lightweight Moisturizer. It Softens skin while controlling excess oil on the face. http://www.marykay.com/adina_k/skincare/moisturization/moisturization/10001500/default.aspx

You can also throw in the Blemish Control Toner 3, which is an acne medication that leaves your skin free of excess oil. http://www.marykay.com/adina_k/skincare/classicbasicskincare/10106500/10106500/default.aspx

The last thing is the Acne Treatment Gel. It will dry and clear blemishes, and allows skin to heal without irritation.
