Drivers LIcense Renewal?

The deadline to renew my drivers license is coming up and the week before the renewal date I"m going to be out of town and more than likely be unable to get a new license. If I can't get a new license before the current license experies, would I have to take the driving test again? Also, I like in Illinois if that makes a difference

Usually you have the whole month to renew - for example, mine expires September 30th, so I can go anytime in September

In Tennessee you just pay a renewal fee and they send your renewal sticker for your license. Now they make us get a new picture every fours years but they don't give us more stations to go to, so really long lines.

If you are going to be driving out of town before the renewal date, it would be wise to go ahead and make the time to renew them.

Geez, do it tomorrow. In some States you can do it on-line if it's not time for an eye exam or new picture. You'll need a credit card to pay the renewal fee. Look at your renewal form for details.

I am pretty sure you can renew your license early. Also, I believe you can renew your license online if your record is clean for the last 4 years.
