If they bring it over it would be in 2008 as a MY2009 at the soonest and would be as a sedan and convertible, not the hatch.
One was spotted in SF driving around with manufacturer plates last week but it's still more an "if" rather than a "when".

Saw one at Disneyland in the parking lot a couple of months ago so if all holds true to the way it used to be when I worked with BMW probably sooner than 2008 as indicated in an earlier post.

I saw one parked in San Diego three weeks ago. At first, it looked like my m coupe so I made a u-turn to look closer. Never seen one before then, never heard of these. The license plate was from Mexico. Looked pretty sharp!!!
