What are the advantages and disadvantages of internet to the military?

they can pass messages along more freely and quickly (advantage)

people will hack into their databases that are full of private military and civilian information and battle tactics (disadvantage)

advantage: get in contact with a few loved ones, let them know you are ok, check up on whats going on outside the military life.

disadvantage: just reading whats going on but not being to sure about the validity of that info.
