My gift is a hard one to explain. I seem to be able to help others to heal themselves. I have aided others in healing their physical and occasionally their spiritual "dis"eases. I don't heal them myself. I just help them do their own healing. I have been told that I'm a "natural" Reiki healer. I simply send them the positive energy that they need and channel the negative energy from them and back into the ether. This seems to come from being a bit of an empath. Like I said before its very difficult to explain. I just know that it seems to work.

Ranging from photographic memory and a suprisingly high pain tolerance to increasing my body temperature at will to intuition, self-healing, and the ability to see sprits/energy.
Some of these, anyone can pick up with practice. Pain tolerance, for example, can be built up over time (I compete in medieval combat reinactment, which surely helps). Also, with meditation and practice, one can control their body temperature (I can get mine to go up, but I'm still working on getting it back down afterwards).
Others, however, are more of a natural ability, and do not come so easily to people (some people will find it impossible to do some of these things). Photographic memory (the ability to remember images with high accuracy) is a natural trait. Self-healing, also, is amazingly difficult to learn (while I have advanced myself in this aspect, it has not been by much; I can't do more than pain management/elimination). The ability to see energy (think: The Force) and disruptions in it (often caused by spirits, ghosts, what-have-you) is also an natural gift, and people are usually either born with it, or develop it naturally throughout their lifetimes.
If you are interrested in learning or developing some of these abilities, the best thing to do (in my opinion) is to find someone to talk to about it. The internet provides many communities and means of connecting to other people in order to share experiences and advice; don't believe everything you hear, however, since people can say whatever they want on the internet. Be wary, use your common sense, and (above all else) keep an open mind. -Caeddyn

I also dream of things that pass. I have noticed that when I was about ten it happened all the time. At about 19 or 20 it happened less. Now that I'm 29 it's happening even less. I've never done anything to strengthen this ability (gift). See if you can hold on to it. I think as you get older it can go one of two ways you slowly loose it, or it slowly grows. I miss how often it use to happen. Try and hold on to yours.

Well, I couldn't sing until I became a born-again Christian. So, that's my first gift. I also have the ability to listen and really help people, which is why I'm a Social Worker. I feel that certain people are brought to me to help with things that others might overlook or not take seriously.

I can tell when some one is really dumb! when you have visions of some thing happening its because it has already happened. You have seen it some where, maybe their movements are the same, they wore something similair like colors are alike, had the same feeling, or setting of place is the same or similair to a past time to you. If it is a vision in a dream thats because your dreaming of something that has already happened.

I have an inate heightend awareness as my pshyiatrist calls it. I know this sounds crazy, but when someone wants to get in touch with me, and they aren't around me. (they could me miles, and miles away) but when no one else is awake, or around I'll hear something as if a whisper but one of those whispers that are sort of loud (I hope you know what I'm talking about.) The person calls my name! Kooky, huh? Also, some other experiences I've had are... When I want to hear a song on the radio, old OR new, within a few minutes it's on Whenever I want to watch a certain episode of a T.V. show, it will come on t.v. within a day or two. Same with movies on T.V.
I have seen a (as in one) ghost. It made me cry, my cousin, who at the time was 13 was with me. I was driving her around just so she could get out of her house for a while. We were near my house (which isn't too far away from hers) and we drove over some railroad tracks. Just before I crossed the tracks, I saw a man, if he weren't a spirit I surely would have hit, or possibly killed him. I was about a foot away from him, and then suddenly he vanished! I started to cry, and my cousin started to cry too, she had seen him as well! She asked me why I was crying (she then told me she was scared), I told her that I was crying because I had just seen a spirit doomed to walk the Earth forever. It was just so sad to me. Then as I was driving her back home, we saw fog all around us. This, admittedly isn't out of the ordinary, but after a few seconds we had fog roll over the windshield of my car, this fog rolled slowly over my windshield (I was driving about 60mph and we BOTH clearly saw an image of a man in the fog. We both were creeped out!
