In my opinion, the entire Star Wars series was one of the best ever made. Every film was awesome. The special effects were magnificent. The story line was moving. The characters were dear to your heart. Smokey and the Bandit was good for a laugh, but it's not a movie that I want to watch again and again. Star Wars is great, and one of my all time favorites.

Star wars was the greatest movie. Its special effects are second to none. George Lucas was innovative and resourceful making these movies. I would say that Smokey and the Bandit has no chance of being the best. The only movies that can even be compared to Star Wars is Lord of the rings.

while Smokey and the bandit was a hit at the box office also, my vote would go to Star Wars, it spawned more sequels (and much better ones)
also Star Wars made a ton off of marketing the toys and other star wars products.
Smokey and the bandit two, was not near as good as the original, and the third smokey and the bandit movie was a waste of film.

Well if I was to pick the best movie ever it wouldn't be either of them. You're both wrong. You should have asked which one is best. Not best ever. Star wars puts me to sleep. I like smokey and the Bandit better but it's far far from best ever. I can probably list 100 better movies.But I won't.
You two drunks aren't worth my time. And I gotta go get another beer.
