How do you answer a question in which any side you take, you will be criticized? Would you simply say "no comment"? Would it be better to try to answer even if that means you are criticized?

Many are saying "Be true to myself", but what if my being true to myself, I hurt others I love?

Be true to yourself.

There is right and there is wrong. Whichever you choose is the one you are going to have to live with. Listen to your conscience. In life, sometimes we have to choose right over feelings. I've had to make decisions in my life I would rather have passed to another, knowing I would cause hurt to another. Sad, but it is unavoidable sometimes. Good luck and God Bless.

If some thing is going to put you in danger then it would be best to stay quiet I think. In this format I think it would be best to script what you believe, for many it could be their only chance to voice their opinion. Those that criticize in here are paper tigers, they can't hurt you or follow you home, you know what I mean I'm sure. I find this to be a great place to practice expressing opinions and accepting that not everyone will agree with your thoughts. That's what makes a lot of the fun in this romp! Be yourself, your thoughts are just as good as the next, because their yours!

Take the side that you believe in. Stay who you are. If others don't like it and you get criticized so what?

Some questions such as the one in question, will always result in mixed reviews. Saying "no comment" can still cause hostile feelings in some cases. I would say, just state the truth. Just speak your mind, because no matter what you say, people will have opinions, but it's important to voice your true feelings.

The best quote I ever heard was, "never argue with an idiot, people watching might not be able to tell the difference."

I ask "What do you think" or "Why do you ask" and it usually gets me out of a spot I do not want to be in.
