if you were in a car accident would you want to be driving or riding?

and would you want to see it comming or not?

No past experiance's please and please elaborate ( briefly ) on the answer

Driving so that I could possibly make it as harmless as possible, maybe even avoid it all together. Its just the hopeless feeling as a passenger I would hate. Thankfully I have never been in an accident.

depends on whom i am in the car with,
if its a reliable person, i'd rather be riding, if it is with some stupid helpless wits that i know i'd rather be driving but and in both cases i want to see it coming.

i would rather be driving, then my friends wouldn't feel responsible and i would rather see it coming so i might be able to react fast enough to avoid it and NO, i don't want my friends to see it. if they see it, they stiffen up and are hurt worse, if they're relaxed, they don't get hurt as bad.

see it so I could try to help and/ or prepare myself
