Does anyone know what price a banded alder borer (Saperda obliqua) would fetch? They're supposed to be quite rare.

it's really hard to say without a pic...too many insects that fall into that description, especially this time of year. If they originating from the inside of the house first guess would be one of the pantry pest.. check the areas you store your dry foods to see if they are in such areas if so get rid of the sources the pests will be soon gone... if it is an outside pest getting in, check your window screens, if you have that may inside you will have many more on the outside trying to get in, if so better weather stripping, screening may be in order.
