I'm curious as to why there are still relatively unheard of on the coasts. In contrast, In-n-Out, a regional chain with an even smaller geographic domain seems to be known nationally. What is your opinion as to why this is? Also, please tell me where you're from (city, state) when you answer.

I have never heard of Culvers....but I think the reason thet In-n-Out is known so well is because it is on the coast ( bigger population, and lots of people visit there). Plus the media has made this chain very well known as well, I have never eaten there, but I have heard of it many times.

I'm from about 20 miles from where Culver's started out (south central WI). It's because they started regionally in the mid-west. It takes time to spread to the coasts and you get more exposure starting on either coast. Don't worry, they're growing and will get there soon. In Texas now. New locations opening in St. Louis. Expanding both directions.
