This is not an unlikely scenario. Pakistan has already sold nuclear secrets to North Korea and Iran is actively trying to achieve the nuclear nation status. Iran's leader has repeated said he wants Israel wiped off the map. What do you think will happen if they do indeed achieve nuclear status as predicted to be 2-3 years from now? Do you think they would not sell materials and or knowledge of how to make a nuclear devise? Such a devise may indeed be attempted to be snuck inside the country. Do you think a terrorist would hesitate using such a devise if he is willing to kill men, women, children plus himself in exchange for his perceived furthering of his cause? I highly doubt it. If all factors are right, or wrong in this case, and a devise does go off what do you think Israel will do? Can this madness be worth facilitating even if you do not like the state of Israel? Sometimes you have to back down for the sake of doing what is right.

Wayne *, I think the enevitable can be held off only so long. They may be able to push it back, but not forever. I think the worst thing that could happen to both sides is nuclear war. Israel in such case would use absolutely no restraint and the world would suffer greatly. The terrorist need to think this through. It is not worth the cost. Two towers went down in the States and Two entire countries were occupied at a much greater cost to the terrorist. If this is what happened when planes were used think of the Karmic consequence if nuclear weapons were used.

brainlessbandit, don't be over confident. Even the might oak and falls and the roaring lion grows old. Underestimating your enemy is not a wise thing to do. A plan needs to be in place in case such a scenario does happen. It was reported in the FBI that likelyhood of terrorists using planes and it was laughed at until it happened. Wake up and prepare or suffer greatly. My wish is for peace on both side and a mutual compromise.

What is disturbing is there are posters here that actually want this to happen. If we have this many insane people here is there hope for the world? It just goes to prove mankind does not have the moral fortitude to possess nuclear technology. All Nuclear technology should be banned world wide.

Tom de Addley, i get the impression you almost want this to happen. If you had a compassionate soul you would do everything in your power for nuclear weapons not to be used period by anyone upon anyone. And I completely disagree. If Nuclear weapons are used on Israel it will become hell on earth for all including you and me.

It will never happen. Israel is too careful and when any other hostile country gets too close to developing nuclear weapons, Israel will stage an attack to take out their factory and reactor (they have already done this once, they'll do it again).
And that's no problem for me. They have a right to defend themselves.
