She was a better role model when she had meat on her body. Now she looks really weird.
All you can see is her bones. She looked waaaayyy better before she was anorexic, but the pressures of being a celebrity is probably getting to her.
I thought she was really cool until she became soooooo skinny. I don't really think she shoukd go out with Joel Madden, I mean he's cool but he should stick to people his own age.
His bad boy influences could rub off on her, and I don't think that will be a good thing.
She's also been quoted saying that she won't sleep with Joel until he puts a ring on her finger, that's one good example she is setting.
I also agree with lavendergirl, people shouldn't be saying that she was 'chubby' because she never was.

Hilary Duff is a very smart young woman.
She and her sister have formed a corporation to build an clothing, cosmetic, movie, video empire to compete with the Olsen twins OWN empire! She even hired a very smart guy to run her corporation (and he USE to be in charge of the Olsen's business, until they turned age 18; now THEY are dual presidents of their business). She will probably make about $3 BILLION in sales next year.
Not bad for a female, a young female, a female with no college, that I know of. She learned at a very early age how "the game of life is played," and now she is playing it like a professional that she is becoming.
I wish the same success for Amanda Bynes and Lindsey Loahan. The both also work hard and deserve the success of hard work.

Hilary Duff was never "chubby", she looked like a normal girl. It's people like the ones who answered above me that contribute to the beauty standards that force a normal sized girl to lose too much weight and look like a skeleton.

Well, she's grown up over the years. (That's 4 sure.) One thing I've noticed is that she's gotten way skinnier than before. I watched the movie A Cinderella Story and she was a little chubby, but now when i see her in magazines and photos, she looks so skinny.

because she lost weight, and all the fat in her face went off.... and she looks different..... very different...
i liked her with more meat... but oh well......
