They have no insight at all. Israel is a regular ally by treaty of the US, just as other countries are, but they do what they think is best for Israel. Arabs hate Jews. Arabs forget that out of hatred they have called for the destruction of Israel and have organizations that terrorize them and they have already forgotten the soldier kidnapping they have done that brought this retaliation on. Arabs always think they are being picked on and never think that anything they do or have done is wrong or caused anything to happen to them. They do nothing but aggravate their problems and whine about how they are treated. It is always the fault of the US. Everything is always the fault of the US. Planning? Like it takes a lot of planning to send war-ready planes to bomb somebody next door. Sounds like they don't even realize that Israel is a modern, disciplined country constantly on the alert against the constantly repeated assertions that Arabs will destroy them and the constantly repeated terrorists strikes.
Offended? Get used to it - the more Arabs do hateful things against Israel, the more Israel strikes back, so the more Arabs do hateful things and the more Israel strikes back and so the more Arabs hate and on and on.
I don't know what you can say or do about hearing such remarks. If you are not actually in Lebanon, and are safe at home, then I guess you can tell your friend that he/she needs some time to reflect more deeply on the subject.

You are not wrong, All countries have plans for possible and or probable military actions for any type of scenario. If they didn't and they got caught off guard, then what would happen? This is not unusual at all and you should not be offended. When they drew this plan up it had nothing however to do with Iraq, since Iraq was not even an issue at that stage. Have a great day!

You are not wrong to be offended. I could make a long, complex argument regarding how Iran influences Hezbollah, and this conflict beneifts Iran while undermining what America is trying to do in the region. Therefore, it is much more reasonable to assume that Hezbollah acted on Iran's wishes. But arguments such as that are usually lost on people that are intent on hating the United States no matter what we do.
Simply agree to disagree with your friend and hope we can get through this without any further escalation.

You have a right to be offended. Basically your "friend" is saying that Lebanon has every right to do whatever it damn well pleases but it isn't ok for Israel to defend itself. Your "friend" is an America basher. This is the type of person who will spend their lives finding fault with everything American while defending horrible, defenseless behavior everywhere else. I would suggest re-evaluating your friendship.

Your freind either does not watch any news programs and is influenced by halfwits, or he himself is a halfwit. I don't let ignorant people offend me, but you might try to enlighten him to some of the easily obtainable facts about what/who really started this, and the thin veil which Iran is behind.
Hezbollah/Iran/Syria are at fault for destroying a decent country by flaring up hostilities so that they can achieve thier stated goal of "wiping Israel off of the map".

It doesn't offend me. People are going to think what they want to think. The world is filled with hatred and unrest. You know and I know that not much is going to make any American forget about Iraq.

i will comprehend why you sense this variety. Black human beings are not the only sufferers. I additionally think of that there should not be a particular concentration on one race because of the fact every physique face comparable circumstances that the black families interior the documentary face. yet on the comparable time it additionally stated those black people who made useful that with the aid of their complicated artwork and dedication that they and their infants will stay extra desirable lives. I additionally agree, no longer inevitably with outright paying young ones to benefit, yet giving them incentives to do their ultimate at college. after all, adults are given perks and incentives to do their ultimate of their line of artwork; why no longer have the comparable concept for infants, somewhat people who could desire to think of that an good coaching is a waste of time? somewhat what this software could desire to do is motivate every physique, in spite of race to attempt and do our ultimate in existence. no be counted who you're, you are going to stand user-friendly stereotypes and stumbling blocks to a high quality coaching and way of existence because of the way the international works. in case you may take a million useful actuality which you have found out from this technique and use it in direction of enhancing existence, then you definately've already gained a extensive conflict.

I am not offended. Just amazed at how stupid some people are.
I would be more inclined to believe that Iran funded Hezbola (sp?) attack now to distract the world while they finish their nuke.
