I'm sure this question has been answered before. But what is your favorite of Episodes 4-6. The original and ground breaking star wars? The Dark and Dramatic Empire Strikes Back? Or the finale Return of the Jedi with the cute little ewoks? Please give a reason if you can.

Empire Strikes Back,
just a better story, more questions come up, characters are better defined. much better ending.Leaves you wanting More.

Empire Strikes Back, because it is dark and dramatic. It wasn't what anyone expected, after seeing the New Hope. Went to the movie theater expecting to see more cute little droids, and we got Han turned into a coffee table, and Luke finding out he's got the most hated man in the universe for a dad. WOW! Pair that up with the romance of Han and Leia, and some fantastic special effects (for the time), and you had a great movie.

The fabulous second one or episode 4 its the perfect example of a movie that doesn't end so good for the principal characters and does it to the dark side of the force. Its my favorite for many reasons.
1)The beginning its a perfect show of the stop motion. even when its not perfect when you see it now, its really cool, and the designs of the machines are great.
2)Yoda: so simple and so great. The puppets are in extinction now but what an amazing character! The voice is great and the way he talks in our minds 4ever will be.
3)The training is the beginning of the greatness of a great hero. An incomplete training on the force. The scene were he takes Vader's head off it´s important for the story.
4)My favorite: the tension between Leia and Han is so funny and so of them. I love the -I love you... -I know And to the freezing!!.
5) The dad-son fight at the end is pretty emotional more in the famous and glorious -Luke I´m your father How cool can a scene be.
I like the others to but the darkness of this one makes it the best.

The Empire Strikes Back. I just love Yoda. It was cool to see how Luke became a Jedi

Empire Strikes Back. There are so many new characters and storylines that tie everything together. It also does not have a predictable "happy" ending. I am also a bit biased because it was one of the first movies I remember seeing in the theatres as a kid.

I'm a tad bit different...I'd say Star Wars : Return of the Jedi...because it's the beginning of the end..and the end of the beginning..lol..it made me cry when Darth Vader was defeated and Anakin returned....I think it's just better...but every one thinks ESB is better...oh well...

I pretty much like them all. I truly am not the biggest Star Wars fan. I would much rather be watching Pirates of the Carribean or my personal fav Harry Potter! They are both better then Star Wars any day!
