Unfortunately it wasn't just Rambo. The USG was backing Afghanistan (Taliban) to help rid them of the big bad Soviets.

Well, seeing how he's a fictional character, I don't see it happening unless you want to fund Rambo IV: The Trial.

Even if you wanted to, it is impossible. Rambo can take out an entire army with just two bullets.
