File for divorce on grounds of abandonment

You may need to consult with or even hire an attorney.

You can file divorce papers yourself. Instead of serving her with papers, you will have to run an ad in the newspaper in the town of her last known address. The clerk of the court can give you instructions and guide you. You might want to consider an anulment which might be better for you in the long run.

But... How do you know she went back to England? Did you try to find her? How do you know she is ok? How do you know you do not have a child? How do you know there was no foul play involved? Did you report her missing? Did she say goodbye? I would want to have the answer to a lot of questions before I let it go.

buy a "divorce for dummies"book . File for divorce in your local court and since you don't know where she is - you might have to put an ad in the paper or some other crap like that. There is a waiting period. If nobody responds- you are free after a while...

File for divorce. If she isn't there, oh well too bad so sad. Almost got to do that to my ex-wife. But she responded at the very last minute.

It's called a no-contest divorce. Ask your attorney about it. You're going to need one anyway, right?

yes but where was you married. was it in england or your country. because the law says here (england) that after being seperated from a partner for 4 years the marriage automatically becomes solvent. you then just apply for a decree of absolute from any family court in england. itll cost just 35.00 english pounds for these papers. and you dont have to have her concent. you can apply your self.
