The Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro. It's deceptive- it doesn't seem like a love story at first, but in the end it is.

I agree with Jamie! The Princess Bride just never gets old! But I also like anything by the Bronte sisters (Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights). Since so many people seem to like West Side Story I'll have to read that one next.

i have to agree with two people. wuthering heights and pride and prejudice are amazing. i read a lot and those are the best. but then the notebook was very good too.
