I just finished painting some rooms and although I was careful, there is some paint that spread to the trim. I tried using Paint removers and solvents (mineral oils), but it doesn't work.

Any ideas?

Thanks

If its latex paint, use soap and warm water and a scrubber, - if its oil base, sand it a bit and then repaint the trim. anything that gets it off will also remove the trim paint- or varnish.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

Match up the trim paint and touch it up. If the paint is on there that good, you will be hard-pressed to remove it without boogering up the trim. It's a whole lot less work to apply new paint, believe me!

Try scraping off the excess paint very lightly ,or sanding with sandpaper very lightly , if not you will have to paint those spots .
