It doesn't usually. If you have had a yeast infection before, and you KNOW that this is another one, and you don't want to go to the doctor or buy expensive medicine, than try this, it's a natural cure:

Lay down right before you go to bed with a teaspoon and some UNFLAVORED yogurt. Put a few spoonfuls of the yogurt in your ****, and sleep with it in, wearing loose white cotton underwear. Repeat every night until your symptoms are gone! The yogurt somehow helps balance the bacteria and yeast in your vagina.

If you have never been medically diagnosed with a yeast infection, or you got treated for one very recently, or you have a "fishy" smell to your vagina, then go to the doctor! There are other vaginal infections that are not yeast infections, and they need different cures than yeast infections do. Good luck!

Usually the answer would be no, but I suppose anything is possible. They make yeast infection medicine at retail stores, grocery stores and pharmacies. You can also get the 1 dose pill called Diflucan. Another wonderful home remedy for yeast infections are plain yogurt. No vanilla or any kind of flavored yogurt, just plain yogurt. The cultures in the yogurt counteract the yeast cultures, thus making ti go away. You can actually apply the yogurt directly on yourself and you can also eat the yogurt. If you do both it will speed up the process of helping it go away. Try your very very best not to scratch alot because that will just cause more irritation and pain.
